FAQ

Q: How long does it take you to edit a video?

A: Every video is different, but a good rule of thumb is that it will take about twice as long to edit a video as it does to film a video. So, if you book me for a full-day (up to 8 hours), it will likely take me somewhere between 14-18 hours to edit your video. Some videos that have more effects, text on screen, or that are filmed in front of the green screen, take longer to edit.

Q: How long does the whole process of video production take?

A: This depends on the project, but the average production takes a minimum of two weeks. This includes the writing process, the story-boarding, the filming, and the editing. If you need a video in less time than that, I will gladly oblige, but I will have to charge slightly more than my usual cost. See the pricing page for rush pricing. If you want a video, it is best to contact me no later than 3 months before you would like the project to be finished. This ensures that the writing and story-boarding process isn't rushed, which means that we can achieve peak creativity on your video.

Q: How do I pay for a video?

A: I accept cash, checks, Paypal, credit, and debit.  Make checks payable to "Cloud Mountain Productions."

Q: Do you offer payment plans?

A: Yes, for videos that have an estimated price over $1,500, payment plans are available. You may take up to 3 months to pay for your video by equal monthly payments. This will not increase your price at all.

Q: Are prices negotiable?

Yes, I am willing to negotiate prices. Each project is different and takes a different amount of time, equipment, and effort, and so I am willing to negotiate with you on price.
